Dog Training Elite is proud to announce the recipient of the first ever Hometown Hero Award. After Dog Training Elite's thorough review of nominations submitted by Warsaw Community Schools (WCS) building administrators, Dog Training Elite presented the award to Ava Hoops during the regular board meeting on March 18.
Ava Hoops, a special education teacher from Leesburg Elementary School, has exemplified commitment, innovation and empathy in her role. Ava's selection was based on her concern for individual students, ability to inspire learning, cooperation with fellow professionals and her commitment to continuous improvement and support for school programs. Her remarkable influence extends beyond the classroom, making a lasting difference in the lives of her students and colleagues.
Principal Nate Polston praised Ava, saying, "Ava's dedication goes beyond the classroom. She has a unique ability to connect with her students, inspire them, and genuinely enrich their lives. Her passion for teaching and her innovative approaches to education make her a true hero in our community."
