Edgewood and Lakeview Middle Schools shared their joint collaborative process and goals during the October school board meeting. The two schools are working in unison to focus on the literacy and reading level impact on all school subjects.
Dr. Hoffert shared his thanks at the October school board meeting for the excellent academic work taking place at both middle schools by stating, “WCS is excited to showcase the great collaboration and work taking place at both of our middle schools. Both schools share the Tiger mascot and our teachers share a common mission of student academic success. Through these collaborations, our teachers are reviewing NWEA data and growth to create specific local goals to gauge academic success.” “
We know,” said Heather Reichenbach, “that academic achievement is critical for students’ future careers and personal growth. We are excited to see all the significant efforts made to capitalize on what student academic success looks like at the middle school levels as we work toward goals that ensure students can pursue any and all the dreams they may have.”
