Today our students participated in PBIS stations. During these stations students learn/are reminded of the expectations and procedures throughout the school. Doing these stations ensures that all students and staff are held to the same expectations. Stations include restroom, cafeteria, technology, recess, bus, and parent pick-up.

Some of our fourth graders told Mr. Hill that they would like to learn to throw and catch a football. Since learning, footballs have become pretty popular at recess! #ExperienceWCS

Thank you so much to the Warsaw Education Foundation for the grant they provided for our 6th graders to have ukuleles! We've been having a great time in music class learning about the ukulele and playing our first chords. We really appreciate the opportunity to be able to have these for years to come! #ExperienceWCS

Our 4th graders had a beautiful day to visit the Kosciusko Fairgrounds for Ag Day today. #ExperienceWCS

Mrs. Cooksey's class held their "Peep-Mobiles" contest today. The groups of students designed, built, tested, and competed with their cars built from legos. The cars had to hold two peeps and go the furthest down the ramp. The students also learned the importance of seat belts, as some peeps flew out of their cars! #ExperienceWCS

We need YOUR help! Our Hoopsters game will be held March 21. We are asking students in grades 3-6 to bring in 2 liters of pop to school and students in K- 2 to bring full size candy bars to school from March 18- March 21. The classes who bring the most will win a rootbeer float party! #ExperienceWCS

Attention Everyone! If you, or someone you know, has a child who will turn 5 before August 1, then this message is for you! Kindergarten Kick-Off is March 26 at 6 PM at all Warsaw Community Schools. Guardians of these students should plan to attend at their school of attendance. If you are unsure which school that is for your student, please contact the Central Office at 574-371-5093. This meeting will include important information regarding Kindergarten, a chance to meet the teachers, and learn about some of the amazing opportunities our students have. Kindness month continues at Claypool. Mrs. Cooksey's class decorated the PTO office door. Student Council members made signs of IREAD encouragement and hung them on the 2nd and 3rd grade lockers. What kind things have you or your student done lately? #ExperienceWCS

The Claypool family continues to grow! Mr. Prescott (our PE teacher) and Mrs. Prescott (one of our substitutes) recently welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy. Both baby and mom are doing well. Welcome to family little one! #ExperienceWCS

Mrs. Gough and her students came to teach our 3rd graders through dissecting crayfish. Some of the students were intrigued, while others were disgusted. Do you ever remember dissecting anything during your school days? We'd love to hear about your memories! #ExperienceWCS

Our robotics team has been hard at work! They have learned so much already. Keep up the great work! #ExperienceWCS

Gaga Ball is always a favorite at recess among the older students. The ground in the gaga pit finally dried up enough Friday so the students were able to play. #ExperienceWCS
